Accessibility Statement

Setnova Advisory wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or high-contrast and reduced-motion settings. This statement says what has been done, what standard the site is measured against, and how to reach a person if something does not work for you.

The standard

The site is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act. (Section 508 incorporates WCAG 2.0 at Level AA, whose success criteria WCAG 2.1 AA includes.) Conformance is a goal that is checked, not a claim that is assumed; the section below says how.

What has been done

• Structure. Every page of the site, apart from the Treasury Desk demonstration, uses semantic HTML: one main landmark, a labelled navigation, a logical heading order, and a skip-to-content link as the first focusable element.
• Keyboard. Everything on the site can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and the element with focus is always visibly outlined.
• Color and contrast. Text and interface colors were measured, not eyeballed, against the WCAG AA thresholds (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and interface components) in both the light and the dark color scheme. Information is never conveyed by color alone.
• Text. Text is real text, not images of text, and can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content. The site respects your browser's font-size setting.
• Motion and media. The site contains no autoplaying media, no animation that cannot be paused, and no flashing content.
• Images. Decorative images are marked so that assistive technology skips them; meaningful images carry a text alternative.
• Preferences. The site honors your operating system's light or dark color-scheme preference.
• Testing. Each release of the site is checked with an automated accessibility engine (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rule set) and with a keyboard-only pass through every link and control before it is published.

Known limitations

Automated tools catch only a portion of accessibility problems, and this site has not yet been reviewed by an outside accessibility auditor or tested with a full range of assistive technologies. The contact form uses standard labelled fields, works without JavaScript, and reports required fields through the browser's own validation. The Treasury Desk demonstration at /desk-app is interactive and needs JavaScript; each build is checked with the same automated engine on every view at phone and desktop widths, and it is best used on a desktop. The Morning Brief sign-up page is hosted by beehiiv and is outside this site. If the site adds further interactive components, they will be tested to the same standard before they go live, and this statement will be updated to say so.

Documents offered for download, such as PDFs, are produced to be readable by assistive technology, but older documents may not fully meet that standard. If you need a document in another format, ask.

If something does not work

If you have difficulty using any part of this site, or you find content that is not accessible to you, please say so. Write to [email protected] with the page address and a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you are using if you know it. You will get a reply within two business days, and the content you need will be provided in an accessible form while the underlying issue is fixed.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile, with common screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS. Apart from the Treasury Desk demonstration, it does not depend on JavaScript to display its content.
