Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information setnovaadvisory.com collects, what it does not collect, and what happens to anything you send. It is written to be read, not skimmed, and it is short because this site does very little with your data.

The short version

• This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and contains no third-party embeds.
• The contact form sends what you type, with your IP address, to Setnova Advisory's inbox through a form-delivery service (Web3Forms).
• The Treasury Morning Brief is delivered by beehiiv. Signing up gives beehiiv your email address; beehiiv also records whether each issue is opened and which links are clicked.
• If you email Setnova Advisory, your email address and what you wrote are kept so that the conversation can be answered and, if it leads to work, honored.
• Personal information is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.

What the site collects

Almost nothing on its own

The pages on this site are static. Apart from the contact form described below, they contain no login, no comment system, no analytics script, no advertising, no social-media buttons, and no third-party fonts or embedded content. The site does not set cookies or use local storage.

The contact form

The contact form asks for your name, your email address, optionally your organization, and your message. When you press Send, that information is transmitted to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which relays it as an email to [email protected] and then handles it under its own privacy policy at web3forms.com. The message that reaches Setnova Advisory also carries the IP address your browser sent it from, which Web3Forms adds for spam control. Setnova Advisory uses all of this for no purpose other than answering your message. The form includes a hidden field that catches automated spam; a real visitor never sees or fills it. Please do not put confidential institutional data in the form; use it to start a conversation, and the confidential part follows once an engagement and its confidentiality terms are in place.

What the hosting provider sees

The site is served through Cloudflare, which operates the network that delivers these pages. To deliver a page and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare's systems process the technical information any web server sees when you connect: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's identifying string. Cloudflare may set a cookie strictly for security purposes during a challenge. Setnova Advisory does not use Cloudflare's analytics to track individual visitors and does not combine this information with anything else. Cloudflare's own privacy practices are described in its privacy policy at cloudflare.com.

Email you send

If you write to [email protected], that message, your address, and any attachments are held in Setnova Advisory's business email, which runs on Microsoft 365. They are used to respond to you and, if you become a client, to carry out the engagement. Ordinary business correspondence is retained as long as it is useful and as any legal or professional obligation requires. If you would like a conversation deleted and there is no obligation to keep it, ask.

The Treasury Morning Brief

The brief's sign-up is hosted by beehiiv, an email-publishing service; the button on this site takes you to beehiiv's page, and nothing is collected on this site itself. beehiiv asks for your email address and sends a message asking you to confirm it. It records, as email services do, whether each issue is opened and which links in it are clicked, and handles your information under its own privacy policy at beehiiv.com. Setnova Advisory uses your address to send the brief and for nothing else. Every subscriber receives the identical issue. The list is never segmented by content, is never sold or shared except with beehiiv to deliver the brief, and every issue carries a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from the list; it does not delete correspondence you may separately have had with Setnova Advisory.

What is not done with your information

• It is not sold or rented.
• It is not shared with third parties for their marketing.
• It is not used to build profiles of visitors or to track you across other sites.
• It is not transferred to any affiliated entity. Client information stays with Setnova Advisory LLC.

Service providers

A small number of providers process information on Setnova Advisory's behalf so that the business can operate: Cloudflare (site delivery and DNS), Web3Forms (contact-form delivery), beehiiv (delivery of the Treasury Morning Brief), Microsoft (email and documents), and, for clients, the accounting and document tools named in the engagement letter. Each is bound by its own contractual and legal obligations to protect the information it handles.

Your choices and rights

You can browse this site without providing any information at all. If you have corresponded with Setnova Advisory, you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where no legal, contractual, or professional obligation requires keeping it. Write to [email protected] and the request will be answered within thirty days.

If you are located outside the United States, be aware that information you send is processed in the United States.

Children

This site is for businesses and professionals and is not directed at anyone under eighteen. No information is knowingly collected from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Business email and documents are held with providers that apply their own security controls, and access to those accounts is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and Setnova Advisory does not promise otherwise, but reasonable care is taken.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it and the current version is always the one at this address. A material change in what the site collects, for example the addition of a newsletter signup or analytics, will be reflected here before it takes effect.
